As a national firm of highly regarded business and commercial valuers, Eddisons Taylors employ experienced Chartered Valuation Surveyors whose skills are often called upon to provide valuation advice for a variety of purposes. In addition we have appointed Stephen Hattley to head our Expert Witness, Mediation and Dispute department as demand grows for this increasingly important service we offer our Clients. Stephen has been a fellow of the RICS for over 20 years and is a member of the President’s Panel of the RICS Dispute Resolution Service. He specialises in capital and trading related valuations and landlord and tenant matters and also undertakes a significant amount of court related work. Whilst based in the South West he will oversee the department’s work on a national basis being supported by our experienced team of Chartered Surveyors and Registered Business Valuers. In addition to the core provision of valuations for secured lending purposes Eddisons Taylors also provide valuations for taxation and financial statement purposes.
Clear valuation advice is provided in accordance with our instructions, the RICS Valuation - Professional Standards incorporating the IVSC Valuation Standards. We will usually liaise directly with our clients accountants to ensure that our valuations provide appropriate and pertinent advice.
We can act as independent or single joint expert (SJE) witnesses to provide clear and supported valuation opinion in accordance with the Civil Procedure Rules and the latest Surveyors Acting as Expert Witnesses RICS practice statement.
Our valuers have a wide range of skills and property backgrounds that can enable us to provide valuation and strategic advice on a number of property based matters.
